Hyrule Warriors Trailer For Wii U Features Zelda Gameplay Gamer

a minute read

A new trailer has emerged for the upcoming for the Wii U, the exclusive title being co-developed by Nintendo, Tecmo Koei, Omega Force and Team Ninja. With all those hands in the honey pot one might think that the game would be a high-class hot mess. However, so far, the game is looking pretty sleek.

The newest video for showcases gameplay for Zelda… yes, the character Zelda. It seems weird seeing her in a battle outfit, on the battlefield… fighting. Although, I should note that she’s not quite the fighter you might think she is. Check her out in action with the promo trailer below, as spotted by GamersPrey.

Her fighting looks… very… very… very… slow. There’s a lot of pause breaks between her attacks – that or whoever is playing her is purposefully taking a break between her attacks just for the novelty of making her look like a ballet dancer with a conductor’s baton while flutey music plays.

In terms of difficulty, she does not look like a particularly easy character to play. The slow breaks between combos and the very exposed moments that take place when she performs her specials makes her look very difficult to play.

So far, I think Lana’s gameplay video is still one of the best, just because her magic attacks look pretty darn crazy.

You can check out some new screenshots of right here, or you can scope out the preview of the game right here. Nintendo’s collaborative second-party offering is set for release on September 26th.
