Hyrule Warriors New Concept Art, Screenshots Arrive For Wii U Gamer

a minute read

Nintendo has released even more screenshots and some concept art for the Wii U’s upcoming exclusive: . Tecmo Koei, Omega and Team Ninja have been working hard at finishing up the game in time for a late summer, early pre-fall release.

The screenshots are pretty tame and you’re not going to see something that completely blows your mind, unless Link wearing some rather fashionable power-gauntlets with a ball-and-chain is something that makes your mind leak awesome juice.

Nevertheless, Nintendo Everything spotted the new shots and posted them in all their unadulterated glory. The shots feature a lot of the item, map and options menu. It’s pretty cool being able to see what sort of options, badges and training features will make it into the game.

Nintendo and Tecmo Koei have been rather consistent with releasing new media and small bits of info leading up to the release of .

While the games seem to bore heavily through the theme of repetition and boredom after an hour or two of hacking, cutting and slashing down drone-like enemies, I do hope that the trio of studios working on will ensure that the game has a strong replay appeal and enough characters and gameplay depth to keep the game from sinking into the same sort of ho-hum state of repetitive gameplay that has become a staple for games.

You can check out the screenshots and concept art below. You can look for , the Legend of Zelda spinoff, to launch exclusively for the Wii U starting September 26th. Need more info? Feel free to hit up the game’s official website
