Nintendo and crew have been on an absolute monstrous media roll lately. It’s like someone pumped up a monster truck with a Nintendo logo on it with some jet fuel and set it into a stadium called “video game news” and just let the Big ‘N’ let loose on the competition like The Shield before they disbanded.
Following up on a brand spanking new trailer that Nintendo just rolled out earlier in the day for , as well as some new concept art for the game as well, the company that belongs to the red-and-white trademarked logo decided to to pepper the community’s plate with some more new media content from Tecmo Koei’s and Omega Force’s upcoming -esque, hack-and-slash co-op title, .

Good goodness. That looked pretty fresh right there. I’m really digging the fluidity of the combat in this game. I may repeat it often that games may have worn thin on my patience over the years – not to mention that the appeal of killing the same faceless, thousand-army scrubs over and over again is a novelty that lasts no longer than the time it takes to yawn – but I’m definitely digging what I’m seeing in .
I do seriously question whether or not the characters have enough moves and skill-combos to branch the gameplay into something that can span the likes of eight playable hours, or beyond that, 40 replayable hours. I mean, it would be a real shame if the highlight of the characters’ moves were all showcased within the span of just a minute and 40 brisk seconds. But here’s to hoping that the rodeo that Team Ninja and crew have ridden out one time too many over the years actually merits them something a bit more worthwhile than their bi-quarterly titles.
If you’re looking to get in a bit more info on you need not look any further than the game’s official website. This second-party outing is due for release exclusively on the Wii U come September 26th.
