Wii U 8GB Skylanders Bundle Only $178 At Target Gamer

2 minutes read

The 8GB Wii U bundle containing the pack is currently on sale, right now, at Australia’s Target for only $178. That’s right, while it’s regular $299.99 at Target, the brick and mortar outlet is selling the bundle pack for only $178.

As of the writing of this article, Target is all out of bundles that can be ordered online (although, it stands to reason that they might restock for this offer, presumably).

You can still head to the store to grab the bundle, which includes an 8GB Wii U unit, a copy of , a copy of , a Swap Force Portal of Power (because you can’t be part of the Swap Force without a portal of power, am I right?), and three NFC figurines that you can use with the game.

The bundle is already receiving some rave reviews from customers, with one user dropping this little gem in the review section…

You can rag on Nintendo for a number of things, but providing a console and game technology that suits the tastes of everyone in the household for a reasonable bit of value is not one of their downsides.

The console has been on a bit of an upsurge as of late due to the somewhat recent release of , which dropped back at the end of May. The console has shifted hundreds of thousands of units since then, benefiting greatly from the first-party outing.

This bundle would be the perfect precursor for getting into the Wii U’s install base before picking up a copy of , since – as noted by one of the users in the review section of the Target bundle – this particular SKU usually retails for $350 anywhere else. The fact that Target sells it regularly for $299 is still a pretty good deal, but even more-so now that they have it priced at only $178.

If you live in the land down under, try to get to a Target store near you, you might want to grab up a bundle before it’s too late and you find yourself outside, just before the break of dusk, cloudy skies overhead and rain droplets pelting your face while sad violin music plays from the store’s outdoor speakers. Alternatively, you can keep an eye on the online Target store page to see if they get more of the Wii U bundle in stock.

Huge thanks to Reddit user Rekkore for the heads-up.
