Wii U Could Make Minecraft Huge In Japan, Says Nintendo Gamer

We’ve always thought that it would be a perfect fit… you know, and the Wii U? What did you think I was talking about, Socialism in the good ‘ole U.S., of A? Pfft. Keep dreaming, this isn’t Lenin-era Russia.

Nevertheless, on the Wii U could be a huge thing… if only someone would port the darn thing to the little Wii U that could.

Well, hopes don’t need to be dashed because the cries of the few could become the cheers of the many. Nintendo Enthusiast picked up quotes from a recent interview that Kotaku conducted with legendary Nintendo game developers, Shigeru Miyamoto and Shinya Takahashi.

So what did they say? Well, you’ll be pleased to know that Miyamoto stated that…

This could be pretty big news for Nintendo if they decide to capitalize on it. For now, the company seems to be resting on their laurels following a rocket-busting release from at the end of May.

Even still, adding to the line-up of Wii U titles before 2015 gets here would be huge for the Big ‘N’, and even more than that – just as Takahashi points out – this could make big in Japan… not that it takes much to look big in Japan… just saying.
