Super Smash Bros Trailer Introduces Captain Falcon For Wii U Gamer

a minute read

Nintendo dropped a brand new trailer for for the Wii U featuring some sexy new characters, an amazing new cinematic and some hints at what’s to come for the platinum selling fighting series.

The video starts with a cinematic that really makes Captain Falcon look like a serious badass, and it gives gamers a glimpse at a downed Chrom, a try-hard Lucina and a savior in the form of Robin (who can be played as a male or female; androgyny for the win).

No more word-wasting, let’s just get right to the trailer. Check it out below.

I have to admit, Nintendo seems to be getting better and better at the marketing for their games. There’s just this air of tongue-in-cheek comedy fused with the fast and furious action offered up by .

The thing that impressed me the most was how the cinematic at the start of the trailer stayed consistent with ‘ vernacular as far as in-game play goes. We weren’t seeing something awesome and ridiculous, only to be met with a 200% different experience in the actual game -cough-

Anyway, the new characters joining the ranks of the ever-growing roster of pugilists from all sorts of iconic video game culture is definitely a good thing. I can’t wait to see who else Sakurai manages to add to the game next.

You can look for to launch exclusively for the Wii U this holiday season. Need more info? Feel free to pay a kind visit to the game’s official website.
