StarCraft 2: Legacy Of The Void Launch Trailer Accompanied By Screenshots Gamer

2 minutes read

The final part of the StarCraft 2 trilogy is prepping to go live this month. During this year’s BlizzCon the company unleashed the final launch trailer for the StarCraft 2 expansion, along with a number of screenshots.

The launch trailer is filled with a look back at everything that’s led up to the moment where the Protoss must do all within their power to save the galaxy from certain destruction. The trailer promises uneasy alliances and the proverbial “epic battles”. You can check it out below after it was posted up over on the Battle.net website.

The page very plainly describes what gamers can expect fro this final chapter in a saga that seems to have spanned for years…

This should really help satiate the desire from the core community to find out how it all ends and who comes out victorious after so many deaths and so many lives were lost in the countless battles and encounters between the three main factions.

StarCraft 2 – Screenshots

I’ve never been a big fan of StarCraft only because I’ve never been big into the real-time strategy genre. However, it’s hard to deny that there is something absolutely captivating about the world that Blizzard crafted around the lore of StarCraft and the characters that inhabit that world.

People are still peeved about Tychus being offed just the same as people became obsessed with Kerrigan’s pursuit of vengeance against the man who left her die.

It all comes to a head in The Legacy of the Void and I’m curious if it will be a happy ending, a bittersweet ending or something in between? I guess we’ll find out on November 10th when the final expansion for this segment of the story goes live.

Blizzard still plans on continuing the StarCraft universe with some micro-campaigns, most notably with the recently announced Nova Covert Ops. You can learn more about the series, the expansion packs and the lore by visiting the official Battle.net website.
