Sony Entertainment confirmed that the PlayStation 4 version of Watch Dogs will run at 1080p and 60 fps, while also adding that you will experience the game “in a way that only the PS4 can provide”. Furthermore, the company says that four exclusive missions are also being included with this version.

The missions will actually be “timed exclusive”, which means that at some point they will also be available on the PC. The other exclusive PS4 content comes in the form of The White Hacker Suit character skin and Hacking Boost Pack. Sony says the pack gives an additional battery slot in order to extend hacking.

No mention has been made on whether the game will run in 1080p and 60 fps on other platforms as well, however Sony claims that the PS4 version will be superior compared to other consoles. “The world of Watch Dogs comes alive on PS4 with the best graphics on any console and exclusive missions found only on PlayStation.”

The company also takes the opportunity to advertise a headset which is said to make the Watch Dogs experience even better. “The immersive world of Watch Dogs is about incredible audio, as well as graphics. You can hear Chicago the way it was meant to sound with a PlayStation Gold Wireless Headset”.

Last month Ubisoft has announced that the Season Pass for Watch Dogs will feature a new single player campaign, as well as new outfits and weapons. Also included, a new Digital Trip that sets you on the hunt for cyborgs and The Untouchables Pack, which will only be available with the pass. The Season Pass will be available for $20 and grants one week early access to all Watch Dogs DLC.

Watch Dogs will be released on May 27th for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and the PC, and can be pre-ordered for $60 Standard Edition or $130 Limited Edition. A Wii U version of the game is also in the works, but we don’t know how far in development, nor do we know its release date yet.
