Watch Dogs 2’s Seamless Multiplayer Now Fully Functional

a minute read

After launching last week with a partially disabled multiplayer component, Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs 2 is now fully operational, as all aspects of the multiplayer are now working as intended.

While the singleplayer aspect of Ubisoft’s latest open world adventure has been receiving plenty of praise since its release, several parts of the multiplayer were originally inaccessible at launch, with co-op being the only feature that didn’t suffer from technical issues. Earlier this week, Ubisoft posted an update on their progress towards creating a fix for these issues, stating that hacking into other player’s worlds and finding bounty hunter targets were now both available, with a final adjustment coming later this week that would fully restore the hacking title’s multiplayer. Yesterday, that final update arrived, as the nearby bounty targets and Prime_Eight rivals have now both been properly integrated into Watch Dogs 2. While there have been some connectivity issues that has hampered the celebration of Watch Dogs 2’s multiplayer being fully available, players can finally breathe a sigh of relief that they now have access to the complete Watch Dogs 2 experience.

Watch Dogs 2 is available now on PS4 and Xbox One, with the PC version coming out next week on November 29 with additional platform-specific features.
