Survival Horror Uncanny Valley Lands Next Month

a minute read

Love ’em or hate ’em, pixel art in indie games is here to stay, as is the resurgence in survival horror both in and out of the indie community in today’s video game World. And another notable addition to that growing list is developer Cowardly Creations’ upcoming side-scrolling survival horror, Uncanny Valley. The studio has confirmed that the game will be releasing next month, February 7 to be exact for both PS4 & Vita — arriving a day later in Europe.

Cowardly Creations claim their iteration on the genre will, on top of multiple endings to the single-player story, feature an array of in-game choices in which players need to think before they act upon a chosen action, such as exiting a room in one fashion or looking for a certain item in another scenario. The game is also confirmed to support cross-buy for both of Sony’s platforms as well as a 15% discount for PS Plus members. You can check out a trailer for the game below.
