Classic arcade gamers and alcohol enthusiasts will be happy to know the Barcade brand is expanding. The company is known along the east coast for bringing back retro fun with all kinds of video games from the 80’s and 90’s such as Tapper, Frogger, X-Men: The Arcade Game, WWF Superstars and more. The atmosphere is abuzz with whirring noises and glowing screens. You can even guzzle down delicious craft beers from local breweries along with tasty snacks or meals to keep your good times rolling.
Barcade will be replacing Martini 494 in Newark, New Jersey which is set to close next month. Look out for more information on Barcade’s website on when the expected opening date will be. This is the company’s second expansion in as many years with the most recent Barcade popping up in New Haven, Connecticut.
