Black Friday is a time honored holiday tradition for as long as I can remember. After spending Thanksgiving day gorging myself on enough food to feed a family of four for a week, Black Friday is the perfect opportunity to burn off these excess calories by taking part in a mad dash to as many stores as possible at the local mall to maximize my savings, all while pushing through mobs of people and becoming involved in many physical altercations along the way. Many of my purchases will be broken with the packaging covered in blood, some of it mine, some of it originating from strangers, but the savings will make it all worthwhile. Or one could take part in the newer tradition of enjoying post Thanksgiving savings without having to leave the couch thanks to the magic of online storefronts.
